Well, the list looks a little slow right now, so I'll throw something easy out
for the lions...

I have been experiencing some stuffy notes on my Buffet recently. It comes and
goes on certain throat tones, but a good cleaning has pretty much fixed that.
However, my C#/G# is REALLY stuffy, and it hasn't gone away with the cleaning.
I asked my professor about it and he wasn't totally sure what to do, short of
reaming out the hole a bit more. But, I'm told that doing that will also
affect intonation on said note. I have enough problems with intonation right
now to create another one!

I also have (as another question that just popped in my head) a water track to
that very same hole. After I play for about 30-40 minutes - depends on
conditions - I get a gurgling in my C#/G# hole that requires that I swab out
the instrument to get rid of it. Then, about every 15 minutes, I have to do it
again or the gurgling comes back. I've been told that oiling the bore helps,
but I have had no luck with that. I've also been told that there's nothing
that can be done about the water track.

Any help from the pro's out there? How do I solve these thorny problems?
