Regarding Roger Shilcock's posting on pulling out mouthpieces: If you
check out the diameters of true Buffett tuning rings, you'll find that
they are not only different thicknesses, but different diameters. The
thick one is supposedly made for the barrell joint, the medium one for
the middle joint, and the thin one (you guessed it) for the mouthpiece!

P.S. I forgot to mention that the diameter of each joint on the clarinet
will accurately correspond to the rings.
