Well, it seems I've stepped into some unidentifiable stuff here...

'Twould seem that the info I so happily gleaned from my source is a tad
incorrect. Just so's you don't all think I'm the idiot, said information about
scoring methods and existence of instruments came from my father. I don't know
enough about music history to even know where to start checking his stuff out,
but I figured that since he went to school for it, and Mozart died before the
late 60's when Dad went to school for his Master's, I assumed that said info
was correct.

I would love to know where he got his information from, but I have neither the
time nor the stamina to go through that conversation with him. See, the
"little talks" we have about music tend to get rather long...as do almost all
conversations we have.

Pardon me for showing my ignorance in front of everybody. Feel free to laugh
hysterically...
