OK, here we go . . .

I have heard (haven't we all ?) about Stockhausen's Harlequin, but have
never seen/heard it performed. (Nearly once, but the performer pulled a
hamstring the week before !).

What can people tell me about it. ie

Does it work as a piece without the 'dance' ?
Is it possible to get 'sheet music' for it, which comes with
choreography ?
How difficult is it to perform, thinking particularly about the 'dance'
aspects of it ?
Have you ever seen a particularly memorable performance of it ?
Are there any recordings of it ? (audio or video).

I think that should be enough to keep everyone going for a while,

Bernie.

ps I suppose I should add 'Have you ever performed it ?'
