One final thing before it gets out of perspective. Scott also
suggested that everyone has spoken about "the right interpretation"
of Mozart's music.

No one has said that. No one has alluded to that. No one has
suggested that. The only comments to that effect may have been
mine which were that, in my opinion, the interpretations that we
are hearing of Mozart's music are not consistent with what he or
his performing contemporaries would have expected, nor are contemporary
interpretations calculated to fulfill the obligations of a modern
performer who executes such music. There is no single
interpretation of anyone's music and no one has alluded to the
existence of such a single interpretation.

Perhaps I misunderstood you Scott but that is the way your note read.
I apologize if I got it wrong.
