Hi all, I admit I have been lurking for the past 6 or 8 weeks. I apologize
and will do better to contribute. As of now, I do need some help.

Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up a microphone to clarinet, either
barrel pickup or reed pickup, and have various parameters translated into MIDI.
More specifically, I am interested in pitch, duration and intensity(attack)
information which I want to be able to graph. If someone out there knows about
this stuff, or could put me in contact with someone who might know, I would
greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to avoid using a wind controller, unless if someone knows of some
software that would translate the fingerings into clarinet fingerings.
However, if at all possible I want to work with a real instrument and micro-
phone pick-up.
