Well-I believe that the best clarinets are made by Leblanc, Selmer, Yamaha,
Buffet and---but the one that is best for you--I was not indicating any brand
preference--though I would think in the case of an emerging student the
advice of her/his teacher, etc. would be of benefit. Of course there are
quite a few folks who think the best clarinets are made by Rossi or
Boosey&Hawkes or Peter Eaton. I was not offering this suggestion to the
young lady from Arizona as a "brand" selection--rather, oh well. Later
