As I indicated in an earlier note, I do not double any longer. But next
month, in the Mahler 5, I have to play 6 clarinets: Eb, C, Bb, A, Bass in
Bb, and Bass in A. I show up with all six and two stands. Does this make
me a doubler once again? I should also add that the Eb part is really
clarinet in D but that is the one thing that I did not think it to be
worthwhile to buy for myself.
