I don't know how it will affect your conducting--but do whatever is suggested
about any pains, etc you are experiencing. This can lead to a lifetime of
problems--I am no expert--but I have heard so many horror stories that every-
time I read about this on the list I shudder. I know of clarinetists who have
taken a year or more off--to rest and recover.
