You aren't a lowly clarinet major, lad! When I was a first second third
year clarinet major--I did not know what a basset horn was--much less the
very idea of a basset clarinet--granted I was in school with Stadler but
he did not have his new horns yet. What a joy it is to have this list and
to share--you are way ahead of the game--you know more now than clarinet
majors (most of us) did 30 years ago. Keep reading and asking questions.
You may not want to ask anyone about VIBRATO for a while--we have pretty
well aired that one.
