Greetings--your experience with Valentino pads is pretty much in line with
my own. The tenon cork replacement material has been a bit of a problem. So
to remedy it I did have them replaced with regular cork--there are also some
synthetics now being used--looks like cork--feels like cork--but it isn't.
According to our local woodwind guru--who I place complete trust and faith in-
in case he is reading this now--good cork is getting hard to find.

I figure the pads on my Leblanc L300 set should see somewhere in the area of
450 or 500 thousand miles. I also have owned only three cars (Since 1970)
and they were all Volvos. Getting ready to trade no. 3 soon. Does Volvo make
pads?
