My Eb soprano was set-up by Bill Brannen when I moved from Wisconsin to
North Dakota in 1967. It has all cork (read ALL) cork pads. To this date
I have only replaced the top tenon cork on this clarinet. It also had a
special bell--looked like a Mazzeo with a hole drilled in it. When I got
the clarinet the standard bell was on it. But--it is still one of the
finest examples of a Boehm Ordinaire clarinet I have ever owned or hope to
own. My wife's piccolo has had all cork pads for many many years--but this
is normal I guess. Ron M
