Dan Leeson has commented several times on the quality of the KLARINET
discussion list and I must agree. Recently on the Society for Music
Theory list, the main topic of discussion has been political statements
attached to members signature files at the end of messages. The SMT
list goes a day or two with not so much as a whisper, and when it gets
going it can get pretty petty. Not so this one!
