I have a question to ask--concerning pitch--the old Buffet wrap-around
A that I have, eg. I am not sure what A was considered in at the time
of its construction. I do know that A440 was established sometime around
the end of WWI--but this instrument does not seem to come close to that
standard. Also for thos Buffet historians out there--am I mistaken in
thinking that the ever popular R13 bore came into being somewhere near
the end of WWII? I am not sure but several instruments that I now own
or owned just had a maker's name on them--then later we started seeing
Elites, Center Tone, 10G, 10 s, etc. etc. I know that Selmer had the
BT and the RT (radio tuned--Conn strobo I suspect).

My Selmer C--is simply stamped SELMER Paris. No special bore--etc.
