Klarinet Archive - Posting 000258.txt from 1994/02

Ah, it's wonderful. I have done nothing but I feel guilty!!!!
Let me say that, for the last three months at least, I have
been addressing my postings to the KLARINET board in exactly
the same way.
KLARINET%VCCSCENT@-----.EDU
and this address was given to me by the KLARINET people themselves
because others would not function.
I use the technique of a key word that pulls up the above
address so that I don't have to retype it all the time. You know
the technique. It is fairly common.
And I have not changed this since my first note to this one.
So if things are happening differently, then either my systems
people have done an end-run around me or else something has
gone wrong with the KLARINET listserv.
Bottom line is that I will poke at my system people, but they
are generally not responsive (or I should say that it takes them
a long while to respond) and that people should be directing
notes to the board and not to me, as Cary suggests.
I doubt if I can influence this and I do so want messages that
come to me to do so via the board so that everyone can get the
benefit from them.
