One book for oboists that deals with vibrato is
"The Art of Oboe Playing" by Robert Sprenkle
and David Ledet (the second author writes about
reed making). This is part of the same Summy-Birchard
series as the Keith Stein clarinet book.

I'll run some excerpts soon when I have a chance to
transcribe them, but this will give some of you a head
start on getting this book down from a shelf.
