I had given up on ever finding ungummed cigarrette paper.
Then I got a job with a firm headquartered in Santa Cruz, CA.
For those who've never been there, its sort of a bohemian throwback
to the late 1960s. Lots of unwashed kids hanging around smoking
and playing the guitar.

I had an inexplicable urge to purchase I lava lamp, so I went
into one of the head shops offering them in a choice of colors.
Noticing the wide selection of drug paraphanalia, I suddenly
had a burst of inspiration and realized that my 2 decade long
search for ungummed cigarette paper might have come to an end.

"Do you have ungummed cigarette paper?"

"Sure, Dude, we got 3 kinds!"

"What's cheapest?"

"Well, we've got this Dr soandso. Its imported from Italy.
It has no additives or bleach, dude, you'll really like it."

Now, think for a moment what most people are going to do with
this stuff. What can they possibly put in it, light, and
inhale that will do less damage than a bit of bleach in the
paper?? Santa Cruzians have no perspective.

I didn't offer that I was actually going to use it on some
troublesome clarinet & piccolo pads and just bought a few packs
and left.

-->or you could try cigarette papers, preferably Rizla red. Use a similar
