or you could try cigarette papers, preferably Rizla red. Use a similar
technique to the tape method. I usually use two papers folded down the
middle and folded over again.

Advantages: cheap, molds to teeth as soon as its wet, non=toxic if swallowed,
papers can be used to dry wet pads hence most oboe players have
a pack.

Disadvantages: The cops might ask funny questions so use regular size
in preference to king size :)
