Ron Monsen <RPMONS00@-----.EDU> mentioned
performing a song for soprano (human voice),
clarinet, and piano by Conradin Kreutzer
--DAS MUHLRAD.

Ron, what is the edition for that piece?
Is there an English translation published
with it? If you had one worked out for your
program, would you mind posting it?

Speaking of clarinet with voice, I rehearsed
with a madrigal group this weekend (singing bass) doing
a Thomas Morley 4-voice madrigal, "Ho, Who
Comes Here." That's the first chance I've had
to hear the original music for that text, which Gordon
Jacobs set in his three songs for clarinet and soprano
(no piano). Those duos on Elizabethan poems were a lot
of fun. I recommend them to any clarinettist who has a
soprano singer in reach. They're published by Oxford.
