Cary says that the diaphragm, throat, and lip as the sources of vibrato
are well-documented in the literature and through quantitative
investigation.

Let me have the citings for a couple of those. I'd like to read them
and see the kinds of science involved. I'm not trying to set up
a straw-man to shoot down. I am anxious to learn from intelligently
done studies.
