I am a Clarinet student at UNC-G (studying under Dr Kelly Burke). I have just
came from a concert featuring visiting artist Dr Robert ("Bob") Spring
of the UNiversity of Arizona. I must say the concert was incredible and the
master class he gave earlier today was very informative as well; Dr Spring is
very intellegent and has a wonderful personality. If any one is not familiar
with him, he is very proficient in twentieth century technique and has several
CD's out. He displays incredible control over the instrument; I hope one day
to be as proficient.
