I have noticed the request for involvement from the amateur sector of
the list. My name is Lloyd Meroney from Amarillo, Texas. I have
worked at Amarillo College as a counselor and educational
diagnostician since January 1988. At the beginning of my employment,
I purchased a used Selmer Signet 100 clarinet. My original
intention was to start lessons through the college. Unfortunately,
the demands of work and family have delayed this goal.

However, I am gaining inspiration to begin lessons as soon as
possible. I played the alto and tenor saxophone throughout junior
high school and high school (my primary reason for attending).
Having sold both MANY YEARS ago, I elected to purchase a clarinet to
continue my love of music.

I can't say that my purchase of the Signet 100 was a wise purchase.
But I know that I don't care much for the clear mouthpiece and
plastic reed brace. Either way, I'm very anxious to start learning
the clarinet.

Thank you for listening.

Lloyd.
