Do you buy these or make them yourself? My teacher used to cut
them out of rubber gloves. I don't know where to find the black
gloves he used to use.

I liked them at the time, but got out of the habit of using them
since the double-sided sticky tape required some maintenance.

I also used to use electrician tape over my lower teeth sometimes.
This was a trick I picked up at the All Ohio State Fair Band.
You goof off all summer and then begin a regime of 10 hours a day
practice and then 5 performances a day, your lip appreciates the
extra padding.
