Scott,

I use a mouthpiece patch and I like it very much. It protects
my mouthpice so I don't nick it or scratch the top and it also helps me
avoid that unpleasant rattling feeling you get when your teeth are in
direct contact with the mouthpiece. On saxophone they are a must.
