Thurston"s Clarinet Method (Alan Frank) has some wonderful etudes. Also
his books of studies based on orchestral works is superb.

I have a new student that bought in a few old mouthpieces her grandfather
had--in the box was a Henri Chedeville 3* MO--has nothing to do with Pino's
book--but anyone out there get excited by the thought of a pristine original
Henri Chedeville found in a box of odds and ends? Should take the weight off
us vibrato people. Of course discussing merits of mthpcs on the list will
be like describing the delights of the persimmon to someone who has never had
one--But it could be fun. Ron M
