Karen quotes David Pino on the subject of vibrato. I am not at all sure
I understand what David says, but I am most grateful to Karen for having
posted his comment because it is the first time I have ever seen an
objective reason given for or against the practice with respect to the
clarinet.

I am just sorry that the meaning of what he says completely eludes me.
Either it is scientific choctaw or else it is a serious and scholarly
answer that I am unable to place in perspective.

Can anyone out there amplify or explain David's comment to me?
