Tom, have you thought of a peg?? I admit that it sounds wierd
but when I was considering buying a basset clarinet, I made inquiries
about getting a peg. And I would have done it too, except I did not
get the horn.

It would be a little awkward for a traditional clarinet, but it would
remove all weight from the shoulder.
