Yes, I've played this too and it is a good work. If you like this
you'd also enjoy the John McCabe and Alan Frank duets I mentioned in a
previous message (which are in a similar style and in my opinion are a
little more interesting).
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Bach two-part inventions which
are always fun to play (and make me wish that clarinets had been
around in Bach's day so he could have written something specially for
us). The trouble is there's usually nowhere to breathe!
