Subj: Harness for clarinet?

Because of some neck and shoulder problems, I'd like some way of
supporting the weight of a clarinet while I play. I tried one of
the harnesses made for the clarinet which attaches to the thumb support,
then winds around the neck and velcros back to itself. However, this
didn't work out for me, as it put pressure on my neck. I'm thinking of
getting one of the harnesses made for a saxophone and adapting it for
the clarinet. Any suggestions on what to get, how to adapt, or other
suggestions? Thanks!
