I met a clarinetist from England this summer, and she introduced me to a
duet by Richard Rodney Bennett called "Crosstalk." It is a short piece in
four movements, encompassing a variety of moods, from lyrical to
pointillistic. It's challenging fun to play, and enjoyable to listen to.
