I got a chance to try out an Elite A in September '88. It was given to me
for comparison purposes while I was trying several R-13s. I believe the
price I was quoted then was $1900. Unfortunately, the cashier's check I
had with me was only $1300. It would have been well worth the extra $600,
as far as I was concerned.
