Stephen,
I think I can help on the Amilcare Poncheielli "IL Convegno" for
2 clarinets. I'm looking at a copy of the piano score and the publisher
is G. Ricordi & Co. (Also I think Southern publishes this)
My suggestion to obtain this would be from Byron
Hoyt Music in San Francisco, Calif. The last ph. # I have for them is
415-4318055 (instrumental music dept).
The original composition was for piano accomp., not orchestra. I
played this piece about 3 years ago and it's lots of fun-a real
toe-tapper in the last movement Allegretto Scherzoso.
I will be performing this piece again in June this year at
Glendale Community College here in So. Calif. The conductor of the
orchestra at this college, Ted Stern, is orchestrating it for that
concert.

Hope this helps -
For the rest of you, glad to be on board. I'm glad I can contribute.
