More on the Telemann Flute Fantasias:
Several years ago when I was studying with Sidney Forrest,
he borrowed my copy of the Fantasias and arranged them for
clarinet -- no key changes or anything -- mostly editing,
articulation, and the like. They were published by Southern
Music. I also play flute, and find they are quite acceptable as
performance pieces. I've never performed them on clarinet, since
they are much easier on flute. Also, I have all 24 of the
Fantasias and the second volume is much like the first one.
