I gave Andrea this piece's name a long time ago, but
for the benefit of anyone else who's interested I'll
say it again: There's a contrabass clarinet solo
in James Barnes's "Fantasy Variations on a Theme
of Paganini".

Actually, this may be a contrabassoon solo that was
played on CB clar. in my band, but it sounded great
on the CB clar.! (Jordan, we have to get Syd on
this list--he was the one who played the solo when
the Foothill band played this a few years ago.)
