There are several trios of Yost--two that I know of for two clarinets and
bassoon. The one we are doing is listed in F major. However, this requires
the use of a pair of C clarinets. What Schott has done in their edition is
tosupply two bassoon parts--one in F and one if Eb. If you do the Bb clarinet
the bassoon goes down to the Eb version. Yost was the teacher of Jean Xavier
Lefevre. I really have an interest in this music--much of it. Will be glad
to share what I have--even parts (many no longer are obtainable).
