There is a recording by Robert Listoken--do not have the ##s now--but it
is available. I studied this sonata at length with my teacher Glenn
Bowen to whom the sonata is dedicated. It was writtenfor and premiered by
him on a DMA recital at Eastman. I have several "corrections" that
were needed in the original. However, Dan Leeson is very correct in that
the new edition has been fixed and the page turns etc. now are possible.
The work does indeed "grow" on you--as does all of Wilder's music.
We have been under a snow emergency here since Monday==interstates have
been closed--school and my schedule a disaster--so no more at the moment.
But I will be glad to discuss Wilder, etc. Regards, Ron Monsen UK Sc of Mus
Lexington, Ky.
