I was listening to our local classical radio station last week, and an
interesting clarinet piece came on. It was for solo clarinet. The
piece was based on the hymn tune "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence"
(I think the official name is Picardy). The piece was basically
theme-n-variations, but here's the kicker - it was in JUST intonation!
If anyone knows the piece I'm talking about, please let me know if
sheet music exists for this, and the label and catalog number this is
recorded on.
Oh, and if any one knows of any nifty pieces for A clarinet, either
solo or with piano, let me know. I've kinda fallen in love with the A
clarinet I have =)
