Didn't Stubbins write "The Art Of Clarinetistry"?

A good, for its time (1960's), discussion of clarinet mechanics.

I seem to recall an apologetic forward for advancing the then radical idea
that artists might benefit from an understanding of acoustics and other
heathen scientific stuff.

Had a good chapter on reed making. At least I think so. It's been about 25
years since I read it.
