Does anyone exactly when and in what context the term "clarinet choir"
was used for the first time? It is my understanding that clarinet
ensembles became popular during the late 1940's and that by the early
50's they were being called clarinet choirs. Who coined the term? Was
there an original "The Clarinet Choir"?
