That was a first class reply!!! Cary I don't know if you have
a VCR in Sweden or if a taped broadcast made on an American VCR
would work on a Swedish VCR, but if all things can be made to
run, I'll make a copy of the "Tree of Music" for you so that you
can examine the claims made by the manufacturers (of whom Buffet
was the most prominent).

I also join you in the belief that the medium of the clarinet is
not nearly as critical as people believe in terms of producing
an artist level sound.

It may sound heretical, but African blackwood (or Grenadilla) is
not a sonic big deal.

I just bought an A bass clarinet and, for $500 more, I could have
gotten it in Rosewood, a wood that is so beautiful to look at that
just holding it improves my playing.
