Hello to you all,
My husband is an instrument repair technician and I am a music educator
with a Master's degree in Music Ed. I give you this information to justify
my query.
I am interested in getting information from the Clarinet community on a
couple of questions. The answers need not to be in depth (unless you want to)
but really just let us know how you feel.

1. What do you look for in a retail music store? What do they generally not
carry that you need? What is the most frustrating or pleasing?

2. What do you look for in an instrument repair technician? How have you been
served by ones in the past and where the experiences good or bad? Why?

3. What could be done by a music store to help you and your students? Clinics
or lessons or what?

4. What are the instruments that you would like to see beginning Clarinet
players start with and why?

Thank-you all for your time and thoughts in advance. This information will be
kept confidential if you like...just send the answers to my bitnet address, or
if you do not mind sharing your thoughts, just reply through the network.

Sincerely,

Vikki Heinrich
