Just a quick note about my opinion of sound:
My teacher, David Minelli (here at ithaca) helpeme to improve
my sound tremendously by givig me breathing exercises! By improving
my air direction, intensity, and support, my tone has gotten better!
Granted, equipment helps, but I believe it wqs someone on this
network who mentioned that if you gave David Shifrin a Bundy clarinet
with a stock mouthpiece and Rico reeds, he would still sound halfway decent...
you think?
