Good Morning Dan Leeson: A quick question for you. Do you have any special
recommendations for basset horn and piano literature? I am doing the Danzi
in the revised form as recorded by Hans Rudolf Stalder. Do you know of any
other sonatas? I have a collection (with the help of Jerry Pierce) of quite
a few variations in F major, etc. I am also going to do the Backhoffen
Grand Sonata for BH, cello and harp. I do have Newhill's book, etc. But
knowing your knowledge and affinity for the Basset Horn (what is the proper
way to write it) I thought I would ask you. I am also curious about other
network members--anyone out their have/play the basset horn?
