Something must be happening. After almost a week of no mail
(or hardly any), I was besieged with 10 or so notes, some of
which were more than a week old. I had posted some and could
not figure out what happened to them.

Did this happen to anyone else or is it only I who was in
the penalty box?

In the last 24 hours, I have posted 3 notes all of which seem
to have disappeared down an Orwellian sink hole. Perhaps they
will return in a week. (And using the capabilities of the
listserver, I have requested to receive copies of my own posts
so that I am made aware when they are delivered to the rest of
you. So I should be seeing what I send and most of it seems
to be getting lost for some period of time.)

Is is that they don't like my playing somewhere? Are they opposed
to basset hornists in general or me in particular?
