I just received my Fall/Winter Woodwind catalog and see a few things
in it about which I know nothing. If anyone out there has any
information on the following I will be happy to learn about it.
1) What is the Patricola clarinet? It is advertised in both B-flat
and A with a price of $2,500 and $2,700 respectively. I know nothing
of this brand.
2) The Leblanc company (whose instruments I have not tried for
years though they always made a find product) has a big advertising
thrust on for their new Concerto and Opus models, also about which
I know nothing. Prices range (for Opus) from around $2,500 and
from around $1,700-1,800 for the Concerto Model, the higher price
being for silver plated keys.
Can anyone give me an objective assessment of either or both of these
brands?
Thanks
