You don't necessarily have to play a particular reed. You just have to learn
how to make the reed that your playing on sounds good. Think again of a good
embouchure and possibly switching mouthpieces. I don't know where you are
located, but I strongly recommend a Jonston, and if you can't get that
mouthpiece, try Larry Combs, or a Bay. I can't think of anything else.
