Subj: Reed and mouthpiece mismatch

A very interesting note that claimed that the user's
Vandoren mouthpiece did not match with his Lurie reeds
left me scratching my head.

Could you please be a little more specific? In what way
does this alleged mismatch show itself? Did someone tell
you this or do you think it to be the case? If you were
told this (as your note indicated) what caused the person
who told you this to believe that it was the case?

I don't know what a mouthpiece/reed mismatch is or how it
could occur with two such stabilized products as the
Van Doren mp and the Mitchell Lurie reed.

My reaction, unless you can come back with a lot more
information, is that the information you were told is
insufficiently detailed to allow a rational conclusion
to be drawn from it.
