Sherylanne was kind enough to send me information about the
original version of the Mozart concerto. I thank her for taking
the time to bring this info to my attention. It is always
good to learn something new.

For those who have never seen the autograph of this fragment,
clarinet concerto in it. It is very fragmentary and contains
only the solo line and a sketchy accompaniment. But there is
a very important melodic difference that has result in the concerto
being changed so as to include it.

It is such a wonderful work!! Sherylanne -- what do you think about
improvising during the slow movement. Not prepared changes to the
text but actually improvising on the spot while executing the slow movement?

Got any feelings you could share with me on doing this? Do you think
it is a good idea to do it? Is it a lousy idea? Why, in either case?

Thanks

con
