I would like say that even though every musisian has their own stylistic
approaches to all music, it is part of the job of the musician to play
in the style in which the composer intended. As far as playin on authentic
instruments that is entirely different. Playing on the instrument Mozart
wrote for would be simply going backwards in the technological advancements
of our instrument. It will still be Mozart only with better intonation
facility, and consistancy of sound. If Mozart had the instruments we
have he would have written for them. Dr. Geidel was right Mozart will
sound like Mozart(assuming its played within character) no matter

what instrument you play on.
