Dunno if I've asked this before, but ...

Today in my lesson, Dr. Polley encouraged me to audition for senior
soloist with the orchestra next year. If anyone could suggest good
pieces that I could start on soon, and how readily available those
pieces are, I would appreciate it. JP mentioned a Mozart bassoon
concerto as a possibility. She also said that just my auditioning
would "blow the faculty away", since there's never been a senior
soloist on bass clarinet! Suggestions are welcome.
